Based in the heart of Fenland, Cambridgeshire, Gemms specializes in the marketing of fresh flowers and produce throughout the U.K
Gemms was established by Gary Emms, whose family has had a wealth of experience in the growing, marketing and distribution of produce since the early 1950s. In its' infancy the Emms family marketed produce for local Bedfordshire growers to the London markets and then back loaded produce from these markets to supply secondary wholesalers and retail outlets throughout Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
Today Gemms operates in a global marketplace, and as well as having strong links with British growers, Gemms imports from Europe, Africa and Asia to supply a range of sectors throughout the U.K. Quality and freshness of product are always of paramount importance.
Whilst Gemms is a dynamic growing company it still prides itself on its family based ethos and excellent relationships with suppliers and customers.
